- speak slowly and clearly
- speak freely, only short notes, look at audience
- no informal language, no ähs & ohs and häs
- integrate the audience
- keep close eye-contact with audience
- don’t talk to the wall
- sum up main facts at the end of presentation
- explain unknown words, use your own words
- be authentic
- mind your odour and speak loudly
- tell the audience when you allow questions: in between, end, etc.
- short breaks to allow audience a mental digestion J
b) ppt
- use short phrases, avoid long texts
- clear background colour
- keywords should fit to what speaker says
- use graphics, animations, etc.
- sum up main facts
- let the keywords show up one after the other
- clear colour of letters, background not so important
- not too much on slides, speaker should explain details
- fonts should be readable

2. Work on your topic with your partner
